A Child Care Center with Heart

As Child Care Connection in Central Falls nears it's one year anniversary, the staff and administration wanted to do something that thanked the community for supporting the center over the past year. What better way to give back to the community, than to give to it's children. With cooperation from local organizations and Central Falls residents, Child Care Connection hosted a Gifting Party to celebrate the children at the center.

On Monday, December 22, from 10 am to Noon, there was a Gifting Party to distribute toys and presents to the 200+ children at Child Care Connection in Central Falls. The Blackstone Valley Community Action Program played a big part in making this event successful by donating over 200 toys and also the Central Falls Police Department who contributed their share of Hasbro donated toys to the center. Other organizations that contributed included Dantiques, E.A. Johnson, Housley & Parnters, and Kuehl Designs. Contributions of toys and cash were also donated by community members, teachers, and parents.
