Kathie Sandberg Elected to RI Child Care Directors Association

Lincoln , RI (November 16, 2006) – Child Care Connection is proud to announce that Kathie Sandberg was elected as Vice President of the Rhode Island Child Care Directors Association. She is also the new representative for the group on the Legislative Commission advising the RI State Legislature on Child Care issues.

Kathie Sandberg has been with Child Care Connection since 1996. She has held many roles in the organization including Director of our Lincoln center for several years and most currently is Director of Compliance. Sandberg is a resident of Lincoln and has an extensive background in early childhood education. In her role as VP and Legislative Representative, she will represent the RI Child Care Directors on many groundbreaking initiatives including nursing requirements, the Dover amendment and many other issues that will further benefit the quality of child care offered within the state.
