Director of Education Chosen As Conference Presenter

Lincoln , RI – Child Care Connection's Director of Education, Sheila Dandeneau, was chosen by CHILDSPAN to present at their annual “Keys To Quality” conference.

Dandeneau is presenting "Fostering Self-Esteem and Promoting a Sense of Competence in School Age Children". The workshop is geared to teach a variety of techniques that teachers can use to develop positive and supportive relationships with each child in their program. Dandeneau's background includes extensive experience with the social and emotional development of school age children. This year's CHILDSPAN Conference, entitled Keys To Quality, is being held in Johnston RI , on November 4, 2006.

The Keys To Quality Conference brings together child care professionals and early education specialists from across RI. This day long, intermediate to advanced level conference offers workshops that focus on how to recognize and celebrate the different learning styles of children. The organization provides a regional voice for over 7,000 members.

Child Care Connection & The Children's Workshop prides itself in providing their families with high quality care and learning for infants, toddlers, preschool, kindergarten and school age children. The company owns and operates early learning centers under the name of Child Care Connection in Rhode Island and The Children's Workshop in Massachusetts and is committed to providing excellence in education for young children.
