Bristol Woman Named Child Care Center Director in Warren

Warren, RI – Kara Rocha, a longtime Bristol resident, has been named Director of The Children's Workshop in Warren; a child care center serving 156 children from 3 months to 12 years.  She will also add to the center's enrollment, Kali, her six-month old daughter, who will enroll in the infant program.

Previously, Rocha served as Director of The Children's Workshop in East Greenwich as as Assistant Director of the company's program in Central Falls.  Rocha is a member of the Board of The Bristol Theatre Company is the daughter of Dan and Chris Manchester, owners of Dantiques in downtown Bristol for the past 25 years.

The Children's Workshop opened its first child care center in Lincoln, RI in 1990 (under the name Child Care Connection) and has grown to 16 centers in Rhode Island and Massachusetts.
