Child Care Connection Receives "Child Care Champion" Award
Providence, RI – The Greater Providence Chamber of Commerce's Options for Working Parents awards ceremony was held this morning honoring those companies that are "champions" in supporting working families. The Chamber's "Child Care Champion Corporate Award" was given to Child Care Connection for the company's significant commitments to its employees and their families through child care efforts and benefits.
Child Care Connection provides employees with an outstanding benefits package that is especially unique in the child care industry. "Small day care providers often can't afford the expense of health insurance, let alone the ability to provide benefits such as professional development trainings or Employee Assistance Programs." says Kevin Fusco, CEO of Child Care Connection. "We treat our teachers as professionals who are committed to the field of early childhood education. With this in mind, we have made it a priority to provide a substantial benefits package which includes health insurance, a newly implemented EAP, 50% discount on child care, a 401K plan, and professional development trainings." Due to Child Care Connections outstanding benefits package, it has an incredibly low turnover rate in an industry that typically is challenged by turnover.
Child Care Connection prides itself in providing their families with high quality care and learning and offers "The Creative Curriculum", a nationally recognized educational approach to teaching young children. Child Care Connection was founded in 1991 as a company dedicated to providing high quality child care services to infants, toddlers, preschool, kindergarten and school age children. The company opened its first childcare center in Lincoln, RI in 1991 and has grown to over 11 early learning centers throughout Rhode Island and Massachusetts. |
