Child Care Connection Awarded Training Grant

Lincoln, RI - Child Care Connection (CCC) was awarded a $30,000 Training Grant from the Human Resource Investment Council of RI. HRIC provides grants directly to businesses to help offset the cost of training their workforces.

Since 1993, HRIC has been awarding "Excellence Through Training Grants" to company's committed to keeping their competitive edge through employee training programs. Child Care Connection is one of only two child care companies awarded grant money from this year's $2 million dollars available. Employers selected to receive the grant money are required to match the grant the money through cash and in-kind contributions.

"We have always been committed to providing excellent training programs for our staff", said Kevin Fusco, CEO of Child Care Connection. "Being awarded this grant money will enable us to continue with our Leadership Training programs and greatly expand our company-wide training day in November. At CCC, we provide our early childhood professionals with the ability to expand their skills, which translates into high quality care and learning for the children in our care."
