Director of Education at Child Care Connection Wins
"Special Friend of RI's Children" Award
Kevin Fusco, CEO & President of Child Care Connection, the area's leading provider of high quality child care and early education, announced today that Director of Education, Joan Marshall, was awarded the "Special Friend of Rhode Island's Children" award at the annual Rhode Island Early Childhood Conference.
The conference, which is presented by the Rhode Island Association for the Education of Young Children, brings together child care providers throughout RI to promote professional development for the early care and education field. Joan Marshall was recognized by the organization for her extensive work and commitment to the education of young children throughout the State of Rhode Island and at Child Care Connection. Joan is not only Director of Education for Child Care Connection, but she is also runs the State's Early Childhood Apprentice and Mentor Program, is a Professor at Community College of Rhode Island, and is a an Advisor and Trainer for the Child Development Associate (CDA) National Credentialing Program.
