Child Care Connection Supports US Troops Abroad

Many of the children at CCC have relatives that are serving in the troops and by collecting supplies and writing letters, both the soldiers and the children will benefit. Many of the older children in our care are looking for a way to feel connected to their relatives oversees and to feel involved with family concerns.
"How long will you be there? Do you have kids my age?" writes 9-year-old Jacob. Ten-year-old Felicia asks "Could you wait to get back to your family? Do you have any children of your own? I wish all the troops good luck." The theme throughout the letters in consistent – come home safely.
CCC will also be collecting donations of supplies to be sent along with the letters. There is a barrel on-site and the public is welcome to bring donations of supplies and food.
