Leading Child Care Specialist Joins Educational Team at The Children's Workshop & Child Care Connection

RI – Nancy E. West, one of New England's leading child care specialists and a Portsmouth, RI resident, has been named Child Development Associate (CDA) Manager for The Children's Workshop and Child Care Connection. The company, headquartered in Lincoln RI, is a provider of child care and early learning with locations in MA & RI.

In her new position, West's responsibilities will include offering support to teachers through trainings and classroom observations, including managing the company's new internal Child Development Associate's (CDA) Program The CDA program will enable teachers to earn their CDA on-site and with the support of the Education Team. West holds a Master Degree in Education in both Administration/Curriculum and Psychology.
Over the past 30 years, West has provided expertise in program development and assessment, leadership and management, child development services, and many professional development trainings. She has also owned and operated her own early learning centers and private day schools. |
