The Children's Workshop's Mentoring Program is gaining momentum! We are very excited to launch our program this fall in the Central Falls school system. We...
The Children's Workshop in Seekonk is located conveniently on Rt. 6. We offer high quality child care and education for infants, toddlers, preschool, pre-kindergarten, and limited school age.
We are proud to be a NAEYC accredited program!
Our programs offer affordable rates, convenient hours and a great location with easy access to Route 195. In addition we utilize a nationally recognized curriculum and an approach to education that you will see in action in all our centers. Our developmentally appropriate classrooms are warm and inviting. Within each classroom you will find distinct learning centers such as blocks, sand and water, dramatic play, library, and computers. These well defined areas present clear activity choices to children and give them control over their time during center time. Learning materials are offered on low shelves and in labeled containers so they are easily accessible to children and they can gain a sense of independence.
Our curriculum provides a strong foundation for children's academic success and our teachers provide a warm, nurturing environment in which every child can be successful. Children retain more when they are having fun, so our programs emphasize learning through play.
We invite you to visit our center! Please stop by or call to schedule an appointment at 508-336-2677. We would love to meet you and your family.

Hi! My name is Ms. Sue and I am the Director at our Seekonk center. I started working with The Children's Workshop in 2010 at the Norwood school and have also had the pleasure of helping out in our North Attleboro and Warren centers as well. Most recently I had the pleasure of serving as School Age Coordinator/Director at our program in Riverside, RI.
I graduated from Fisher College with an Associates in Early Childhood Education and am currently working toward a Bachelor's Degree at Eastern Nazarene College. I have worked in the early childhood profession for over 20 years and love meeting and getting to know new families. What I like most about teaching children is when the light "comes on" and you can see that they understand what you are teaching, it is so rewarding. I live in Rehoboth and have two grown sons. In my spare time I enjoy camping, boating and snowmobiling.
Please stop by Seekonk and say hello, I'd love to meet you and take you on a tour of our school!
It's nice to know who is taking care of your children
We have been going to the Children's Workshop since August 2004 when my son was 2 months old. He is now in the 1st grade, his little sister is now in the Waddlers classroom and is learning wonderful things from the same teacher that taught him. We have been with the same core people for over 6 years, it's nice to know who is taking care of your children.Kim G.
