The newest addition to The Children’s Workshop family, our North Kingstown facility welcomes infants, toddlers, preschoolers and pre-kindergartners. We are open from 6:30am to 6:00pm, Monday through Friday, to fit the needs of our busy families. The center is conveniently located just minutes off Route 4, near the Home Depot and Super Stop and Shop Plazas and the soon to open Commuter Train Station. Our building includes bright, developmentally appropriate, fun classrooms and a great outdoor playground. As you will see our North Kingstown center is warm, inviting and designed with young children in mind.
We utilize The Children’s Workshop Curriculum, a framework we developed that draws inspiration from Creative Curriculum and the Rhode Island Early Learning Standards which you will see in action in all our centers. Children retain more when they're having fun so our programs emphasize learning through play. Our curriculum provides a strong foundation for children's academic success and our teachers provide a warm, nurturing environment in which every child can be successful.

Dave StanlewiczHi! My name is Dave and I am the new director of The Children's Workshop in North Kingstown. I joined The Children's Workshop in January of 1994 and have held many roles in our centers over the years. I served as the Director of both our Warwick, East Greenwich and Lincoln locations before spending some time working with the Home Office staff to support other directors. I am now excited to make my home in North Kingstown!
I have a BA in Psychology and have been working in the early childhood education field for over 20 years, working with all age groups. I am an avid sports fan, enjoy working outdoors, and love spending time with my family.
I enjoy working with children because it keeps me young; after all I am just a big kid! Please stop by and visit me and the fantastic staff in North Kingstown. We can't wait to meet you, show your our beautiful school, and welcome you to the TCW family!

I can only say one thing: THANK YOU.
I wanted to take a moment and express mine & my spouse's gratitude for the way the staff and teachers handled yesterday's snow storm. Myself, just like many other parents, spent hours on the road, trying to get to the daycare, before abandoning my car on the side of the road and walking over. During the hours I spent stranded in the daycare, I was amazed by the commitment the teachers and staff showed as well as their empathy toward the parents and the children, even though they had their personal emergencies they had to deal with. We love the day-to-day experience our son & daughter are going through, but seeing you guys operate under stress, with no panic, and with only the well being of the children & their parents standing in front of your eyes, I can only say one thing: THANK YOU.
