The Children's Workshop recently opened in Norwood in the Rama Stop Plaza (formerly Rama Kids Stop Early Childhood Center). We offer high quality care and learning for infants, toddlers and preschool. Our programs offer affordable rates, convenient hours, and a great location with easy access to Route 128 and Route 1.
At The Children's Workshop, we utilize the "Creative Curriculum", a nationally recognized curriculum and approach to education that you will see in action in all our centers. Our age appropriate classrooms are warm and inviting. Within each classroom, we have distinct interest areas consisting of blocks, table toys, art, cooking, computers, library, house corner, and outdoor play. These well-defined areas present clear activity choices to children and give them control over their time throughout the day. Play materials are on low shelves, in containers and on hooks so that they are easily reachable and children gain a sense of independence.
Our curriculum provides a strong foundation for children's academic success and our teachers provide a warm, nurturing environment in which every child care be successful. Children retain more when they're having fun, so our programs emphasize learning through play.
