Sue Maurice
Director of Food Services
Sue joined The Children's Workshop team in 2000 and worked as the receptionist, running our Home Office. We didn't realize until we got to know her that her true passion and absolute talent were both cooking! In fact, Sue's entire family is in the food business and she personally has 35 years experience to boast. TCW has served hot, delicious, wholesome meals in our centers since 2001but we found over time that we could save our parents money AND guarantee better quality and nutrition by operating the food services ourselves. In 2005 we did just that and asked Sue to run the show! Sue designs all our menus and manages the kitchen and food delivery staff from our state of the art commercial kitchen located in our Central Falls location. Sue's objective is to introduce and expose children to a nutritious and hearty lunch using the best quality meats, vegetables, and grains - she knows that kids can be picky eaters so she makes sure it's all yummy too!
